Workshop Challenge is owned and run by Leo Todeschini and James de Ville. 

 

Leo Todeschini, known as Tod, has had a varied career in engineering as a product design consultant, special effects supervisor, University design tutor and most recently engineering consultant to Scrapheap Challenge.  In addition to this he has appeared as an expert on the show 5 times, been a team member on Monster Garage and presented Zero to Hero.

 

James de Ville has also had a varied career in engineering as a product designer, then in special effects for film and TV, has been an expert on Scrapheap Challenge and appeared in Experimental!, the children’s science show.  In addition to this he is a qualified Design Technology teacher.

 

Other Workshop Challenge staff have similar creative engineering backgrounds.

 

All the WSC staff are experienced and safe workers that will take students through the stages of design and build, help them at critical moments, ask searching questions at others and develop the students ideas through encouraging them to think rather than providing the answers.
